Office 2003

 
1.     Click on Start, Run
 
2.     Type Regedit and click OK to bring up “Registry Editor”
 
3.     Navigate to My Computer -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER
 
4.     Navigate to Software
 
5.     Navigate to Microsoft
 
6.     Navigate to Office
 
7.     Navigate to 11.0 (this may be a higher or lower number depending on what version of Microsoft Office you have installed on your workstation)
 
8.     Navigate to Word
 
9.     Navigate to Options (If you cannot find Options you have probably navigated to the wrong number in step 7 above. If this is the case, go back to step 7 above and try a different number)
 
10.     Right click in a blank space on the right hand side of the Registry Editor and click New -> DWord Value
 
11.     Type the word SQLSecurityCheck and press enter to accept
