A navigation bar will appear in most FilePro screens and will help you move through the data displayed on screen as well as modify existing data.
It might look something like the following toolbar, but will change depending on which screen you are in.
First record Moves you to the first record
Back 10 records Moves you back 10 records at a time
Previous record Moves you to the previous record
Next record Moves you to the next record
Forward 10 records Moves you forward 10 records at a time
Next record Moves you to the next record
Last record Moves you to the last record
Add Adds a new record or line
Delete Deletes a record or line if you have permission or the system will allow it
Apply changes Applies any changes you have made to the selected item
Abandon changes Abandons any changes you have made to the select item
Refresh Refreshes the contents of the dataset
Some extra buttons that may appear on other screens are explained below:
Edit Edits the selected record
Time clock Starts a new time clock
Auto bill Automatically builds an invoice creating all unbilled items (invoice screen only)
Print Prints the selected record.
Reset/Reverse Resets or reverses an invoice (invoice screen only)
Search Used to search
Generate receipt Generates a debtor receipt for a trust cheque (trust cheque screen only)
Grid Settings Allows you to change how your grid appears for that screen
