Protected Trust

Protected Trust is an amount of money, held in Trust, being put aside for something specific (often Counsel Fees).

If an amount is protected it can not be used for any purpose until it is unprotected.

If the user has been given access to the function the “Protected Trust” label in the financial tab will show up in blue.

To unprotect these funds you simply need to click on the blue words again and remove or change the protected amount.
